I started thinking about putting another album together about 3 years ago. Over the course of this journey I've been working on other projects so I haven't been locked into it for 3 years. However I think that is healthier because over time your ideas get a chance to become better. You are influenced by more things creating diversity.One of the projects that really got me thinking was doing the score for the independent film "Think Peace". I was also mixing and mastering the final audio for it so I was heavily exposed to the dialog and story. This is where I became interested in what was going on in American politics and where songs like "Peace", "Secrets", and "Confusion Energy" came from. It blew my mind at how obvious some things were living outside the country looking in. The tabloid style news shows and the stuff they would say and claim the citizens accepted. Just didn't make sense. I came up with the term "Confusion Energy" to refer to the act, or energy put in to pull one over on people using popular media. I started thinking about how powerful television is and how scary it was that it was being used as a control medium. I've made my own definition style graphic posted on the right of this article. I was going to use it for the album cover but soon realized I may be sending the wrong message to the listener contemplating what the album stood for. That's when I came up with "Infomusication" I guess I just like making stuff up !  Over all when I set out to make another album, I didn't want to do anything I had already taken a swing at. I wanted to do something with slower tempos, loads of texture. Something you could listen to and get lost in with hints of familiarity sprinkled in. I don't know if I actually accomplished all that but I'm happy with the results and I'll let you check it out for yourselves.
